Mean Girls

Auditions for Mean Girls will be on July 23rd and 24th, 2026 and rehearsals will start first week of August.  Performances will be October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 2026 at the Ritz! If you would like to audition, you will need to click the "Book Audition Here" Button below to book a timeslot. Time slot auditions are for those who would like to be a Leading or Supporting Role ONLY. Each actor will need to prepare a song and practice their reading materials, those recommended for each Leading and Supporting Role are listed below. If you want to be a part of the Ensemble (Just wants to participate!) or help working somewhere backstage,  just sign up, no audition needed.

Please Note:  Mean Girls may contain more mature themes and content than a typical youth production. For this reason, auditions and casting are limited to performers ages 15 and older. We appreciate your understanding as we work to produce the show as intended while providing an appropriate experience for our cast and audience.

Do you only want to be in the ensemble or backstage crew?
Fill out the form below.

Leading Role
and
Supporting Role Auditions

Please select a time slot available on the website.  Each actor will need to prepare the below material. Each Leading and Supporting Role must audition. An audition is just showing us how you read, sing, and have fun pretending to be someone else. You don’t have to be perfect—just do your best and be yourself!

Once you audition, we will reach out for call backs if needed, these help us in the decision making for a cast list. Call backs are asking previous auditions to  return to read a different part in a script or sing a different song. A Cast list will be posted once all auditions have been completed. Once a cast list has been posted you have 72 hours to accept or decline your role. Please email us as rosewoodrepertory@gmail.com to accept or decline your role! This helps us allow the next actor the opportunity.

Submit a Video Audition

Video Auditions are open until the final day for auditions. If you need an extension, please send us an email for prior permission from the Director.

Please label in the subject line as the following example. "John Doe, "Character Audition"

e.g. "(First & Last Name), (Role desired) Audition"

Character Descriptions

Here we have separated out the audition material for each leading role. Please prepare for any and all roles you would like to audition for.
